Sunset transformed sky

shifting kaleidoscope

vermillion colours

dance horizon to horizon

walk the water’s edge

mind idly wandering

briefly I glimpse you

in peripheral vision

my yearning heart

pauses in mid beat

I turn to reach out

only to find

it is just another

manifestation

of my wanting

loving

needing

you!

Love the shape of this poem, Felix, in both form and sentiment. A dart to the heart for certain sure as peripheral vision focuses down on the mind's eye longing. As deep as a lighthouse is tall and as powerfully illuminating. A true beam straight to the heart. xx

Nice one Fee. I Wwrote one titled YOUR PRESENCE that's quite similar, at least in the message. I'll be sitting at home alone, reading or maybe watching TV and I can feel her presence to the point that, at times I come close to speaking to her before I realize that she's not there.
