I live for the day
we can all speak the same language,
one without hate.
for the day
we can set aside our differences
long enough to learn to relate.
to the special love
buried deep inside each other's hearts
we seldom show.
to the precious gift of life
we've been given
so few of us really know.
I long for the day
that we can find the true worth
inside us all.
for the day
we can finally realize
the importance of heeding the call
to take up the torch
of good and right
and carry it far.
to lift up
all the joy and happiness in our hearts
high above our pain and hurt that scars.
I live for the day.

Everyone has love buried in each of us, but few have blocked it out or have been hurt so bad they really just don't know. If all hate were to be gone and everyone were to be lovers of one another. To lend a helping hand or to be able to relate and understand. Oh what a sight that would be. Love this poem dad.
Love your one and only daughter, April
There isn't a compassionate person in this world that doesn;t live for thiis day. Indeed, paradise would be our world should this come to pass. As a whole we can either behave our dayumed selves here on earth and make it a harmonic place to coexist now...or await the Creator's reward to come. The question is, which will we see first?
