The difference between our spaces
is etched in sorrowed faces
It spans the vertical
and branches eternal
inviting entropy in places

The likeness of our basis
can be meted out in traces
we capture nonsense
revering innocence
when the fickle heart chases

There are doors that connect
at the edge of the perfect
they open to each other
joining son to father
through happenstance abject

Belief pales to due respect
and the the unusual suspect
invites in a gust
to a spiked tongue thrust
where your soul can now project

Wonder more and wander less
evolve in nature and progress
the light that blinds
in darkness finds
where platitudes are meaningless

A bitter eternity of duress
opens on a field of largess
faces now uncovered
realities discovered
and nothing to hinder egress
