So here it is Thursday and in the worst way
I'm finding the ground tenuous and breathing alone is failing in its efficacy
Collaboration begets deliberation begets conflagration begets destruction

Forward moving and backward thinking

In the most servile form, I am chagrined, underpinned by the notion of the top-spin that I'm going to need to get this one passed.

Make it not so

That's against the rules, though

Plausible as ever, you know

Can't let go

It's a finery of confusion
this illusion
of exclusion
to seclusion
and conclusion based...

solely on what? Disregard?
Draconian placard...

I make myself face the light and gather no warmth there
The radiance is an irritation to eyes that have ventured far from pleasant pastures to shores with jagged edges and choppy water

It's the salient principle that I can't get my hands around

Maybe it's the girth
or lack of self worth
subliminal dearth

I'm no more
than I ever was
but much less than I ever can be

B,

Poignancy rings in each word--effectively penned (and well rhymed). :) Well done!

She Intrigues Me, Revelations Of Love by Jon Willey

If you tend to believe romantic, passionate, masculine poetry is a thing of past eras, read "She Intrigues Me," and be swept away in the beautiful craft of a contemporary poet of love.

Say Something Terrorible v3 by RickthePoetWarrior

My mom says ‘If you can’t say anything nice then don’t say anything’. Sorry mom but under the guise of poetic license I penned these beauties.
