Dawn broke on Aaron
and his fall began
In truth, Asheric would hang
so, too, the fortunate crows harangue
Riders from the eastern land

He left his good looks
and childhood pursuits
The call of sword and siren
rushed him to the ranks of Lord Chiron
Defense of Arador and her mutes

Pleon made arcs of fire
and souls were loosed in lots
A demon's kin joined the fray
for now, chaos and kind held sway
Mendacity smote light in blots

From Daric the wide
to the fell pines of Rondhite
Soil blood red from cur and cad
death-made brothers in cruel hexad
Licked by Tandria to winter's spite

The west and her legion
would win the field that day
Run down Chiron, bloodied king
take of his line and the sun ring
Life from eyes now stone gray

Aaron slept in tangled swoon
the life not yet departed
O'erlooked by Madrigal and mace
cursed for futility and disgrace
His prince's ambitions thwarted

In the end, t'was fair Pleon
that fiery spike of truth
Still vibrant and vital
and the only sage counsel
Will enough to save youth
