What is it about the bottom that allows for further descent?
What is too low?
Can there be another level of despair just beneath this one?
The questions to all my answers are written in my epitaph
I can’t make sense of the lesson that I’m supposed to learn
Is there something I’m supposed to get from this?
Am I to presuppose that all is malice and ruin?
How does the effort to mount an assault on mediocrity
Saddle me with inevitable graceless defeat?
Have I not traveled long and longer to this space?
Remind me again of the clarity of discovery
Excuse me from this constriction and allow me to be me
