*Silvery blue nights of hunger* *Your eyes, Safiya* *Are my sky* *The talking bird* *Was caught in the trap of vanity* *And my talking was foolishness* *Still, I must say:* *Your eyes are my sky* *I went out on a journey* *Like the mind of a stranger* *Who was drunk from palm vine* *And sought forgetting somewhere* *I'm with you and I'm far away* *I have nothing to give you* *In my hands there is nothing* *But the vanity of my love* *Make I stop talk!* *I want to say something* *But all I can tell you is:* *Your eyes are my sky* *Slivery blue nights of hunger* *Again and again* *Repeated vocables* *Clouds of dust in the air* *We are desparate in the struggle* *To overcome and survive* *Desparately are we fighting for the naked day* *And love should remain?* *In that trial on overcoming the day* *I got nothing to plead for, Safiya* *But I must confess that* *Your eyes are my sky*

Wonderful and tenderly romantic. A home run in baseball means the batter has hit the ball so well that he runs around all the bases ceremoniously. Because some hits means that he only gets to one base. There are four bases. The object is to get from base to base and then to what is known as home plate. So therefore you scored well without having to stop at one base at a time. Make sense now.
