When I see

I discern

From my seeing

Seeing woman and

Man

I see

Flesh, guts, bones

And brain

Cerebrum

Walnut-shaped

Clad in its cortex

And skin

Spread

Over sinews' tenseness

And raw mass

A condition

Of water

The human shape

To my eyes

Becomes more and

More

Unreal

A mere bridge

Between shores

And the world of appearance

And shape

To me becomes

Void of meaning

A skeleton of guts and nerves

Breathing illusion

Am I

 

Beyond it lies

The horizon

Of the states I can know

And what I see

I see not

Cease, o my self

Cease

And extinguish

Extinguish thyself

To be stream

And not shape

As long as you, my soul

Are bound to form

And have not become formless

Particle of the whole world

And dust

And bodyless

How can you ever

Be free?
