You have absolutely no idea what this does for/to me, AberJ... It was 0700 when I first read this yesterday; the full moon was still high in the sky outside my study bedroom window, yet the dawn was rising on the other side of the house and projecting its full aura over the residual shadows of night behind me... Totally surreal... and what a poem to capture that je ne sais quoi. Whatever; such a mystical experience of both your hypnotic verse embellished by the reality outside of my window is SURE to recur somewhere in my poetic membrane... Hope you don't mind?

Two frostbitten hearts
melt the ice binding their touch—
trust in life again.

Spiritual lights
and sensual flame brew sweet
mysterious heat.

a beautiful poetic amalgamation of love and spirituality ... if they can ever be truly separate ...

Fear is indeed learned and because we begin as pure love and absolute trust, it is easy to be hurt and deceived, making trust a thing of the past...then along comes the keeper of our heart and all of our fears and past hurts melt away as we welcome love back into our life. I love these lines:
