"We need to dance with life...and leave the brilliant light behind"

-Bryan Ferry, "Dance With Life"

Poem Artwork

They haven't unplugged me yet and I still feel that tug on the string. +Steven's message pulled me in. The last review I gave him was a reprimand. So it shocked me that he of all people would say goodbye. A goodbye and a hello, really. He asked me to stay, but this is a time for going quiet within while engaging the life without me(in real time)wholly and totally. The temptation while I am here is to lose myself cloaked behind this curtain. Oh I needed this experience and I don't regret it. All of you pulled me out of my quiet shell and allowed me to express who I am and what I feel. The growth I've experienced from those first awkward attempts has been phenomenal. But I did lose myself and allthough this is good every once in a while, it allowed me the excuse to neglect other aspects of my life. There are things I need to attend to, so I have to let go of others...Thank you, Steven, for forgiving me. "You make us better", you said. But you're the one who has taught me! All of you have taught me. This day, of all days, is a time to look back over the last year and be grateful for what others have have contributed to our growth and well-being. If we can only get out of our own way every now and then, we can see life and others for what they are-a miracle...Lin

Our lives and the lives of others really are a miracle I know. I only wish everyone else could realize that. Pierre.

That being said I will miss your work as well and hope that you will come back to us again someday with the richness of your work. You will always have friends here on the den. I wish you continued sucess in your writing and maybe you could drop by and update us now and then on your life, as we all will care.
