Cat's cradle by Henry B Stevens 02/26/2005 as children playing the poet sets a string of words picked up by the reader back and forth ideas images, the odd shape of phrase, till one can't make a play but always, forever same winner, same loser the poet surrenders equity the reader now owns the poem.

this is an excellent concept as well as a well written poem...i sometimes think, when reviewing a poem, that i am probably missing the point, but i guess if it is the point i get, it is the right one for me...and does that make sense?
