Good questions, Henry, and I don't think anyone can even begin to hazard a guess as to the answers. I am such a History bozo... Andy Turner is educating me... I had no idea that we are only as good as the man who leads us and was totally IGNORANT at how powerful single individuals can be in world events. Stupid, really, to think otherwise. Spose I have been duped by that word "democracy"! :)) But now my eyes are open and our new PM is astoundingly his own man and sticking his neck out on a limb... I can believe it. He's currently refusing to attend a Heads of State summit meeting if President Mugabe is gonna be there... GOOD MAN!!! Suddenly I am politically apathetic no longer, if suddenly a REAL LEADER emerges... by that, I mean one who is going to lead his people somewhere, instead of nowhere. Time to call time on the Old Men of War and Prejudice. Let global humanity prevail. Leaders who are prepared to stick their necks out and go against the tide in the name of justice is a good start... Let's hope momentum builds towards GETTIN IT RIGHT! :)) Love, Kate xx

Interesting point of view... will we ever get it right as we did in WW II. Maybe it will eventually take WW III to do that I am starting to worry.

I guess there will be mixed emotions on this one...as I can see both sides of the coin coming into play...with a sadness for both viewpoints.
War sucks! is right...it sucks the ones affected, catatonic... and infiltrates corrosive.
