What a wonderful economy of words! During my first reading of this poem I felt as if I was releasing, with bare hands, a tight knot on a steel cable. The knot finally undone, my bleeding fingers encountered nothing but a new throbbing of understanding in my own mind and soul:
A God's mandate.
