Yes, we are all different

the sand is crisscrossed
with lines drawn by
each of us pursuing
our own ends

defending what we
see as right and
defended by might
of right thinking folks

who daily make sure
the edges of the lines
are sharp and clear

while the left after
walk the lines
trying to understand

and flattening the
sharp edges in the 
dawn drawn lines

perhaps some day
a sand storm lasting
a few days

will force a final
re-examination of
why the lines

their direction

the sharpness
of their edges

resulting in an
agreement that
many fewer lines
are needed

and the focus of life
is else where

diversionally more
pleasant pursuits
of mutual benefit

Mose Wright might
nibble MJ brownies

while those left stop
smoking so mulch
the hibiscus whose
lovely blossoms

open beautiful for
a single day
closing down at
nightfall forever.
