Too much by Henry Burt Stevens 7/17/2005 www.authorsden.com He asks too much of me that I should hate His enemies He whispers in our leader's ear now I must destroy my idea of tolerance brotherhood sisterhood of man He identifies evil for my instruction so I will know who is good and just and who'll be bombed to dust He says, "those not with us are against us", lumping me as traitor, heathen, and even worse my sin will visit upon my progeny for seven generations: He asks way, way too much.
