Faith by Henry Burt Stevens 11/22/2005 www.authorsden.com faith runs with a rough crowd these days two major alliances are intolerance and torture beyond that faith has joined forces with empire faith participates in dirty tricks and dirty deals dogma is more holy than humanity can faith ever find its way back to love peace warmth among the many peoples who must inhabit the wide world yet disagree but not be foes be charitable without being labeled weak and traitor be relaxed without becoming a tiger waiting to pounce.

Too bad that the author and all of us with similar thoughts and feelings in this country constitute a minority. Perhaps the historians in the future will say that we were right, however it could be too late or irrelevant by then.
Are we prepare to be keepers of the Faith and guardians of Humanity or
we just are here to enjoy while they exist?
re we just want to enjoy them while they exist?

Henry, it is wise to remember that faith has many subtle enemies and we must guard our hearts and not take faith so far down a wrong road we are unable to find ourself back to its simplicity. Dawn PS -- love Jude's existential (accidental?) comment below.
