gather round kids
here's the drill
if they won't respect others
they won't respect you
their abuse of others
is to protect you
they say but really
they are practicing
so they can employ
same or harsher work
on your bare back
and make you fall in line
wherein you'll only
be able to leave
by confronting
your basic greatest fears.

For some reason the tone of this poem reminded me of basic training in the Army.
