Each poem stands in the spotlight Head of the column High and proud Head and shoulders above the crowd A minute or so - (Maybe ten) And then- Each poem moves to slow eclipse As it sinks below the line Its time for standing in the spotlight gone unless - someone clicks on "other poems" and lifts it briefly into the light again.

i'll probably be the only one to find humor in the fact that you say click on other poems to make it shine again but this was an excellent short and to the point poem of truth because that is theway of each of our poems
