Nicely written, I also like the clipped style. I think we have to speak out about current issues with our poetry. My only stance on this particular issue is that I'm relieved I'm not the one deciding it -- and I've made sure my wishes are well known to my entire family.
Do you have children? Do you honestly believe that you wouldn't do the same as her parents if your little one was in Terri's condition? It's better than her "loving" husband wanting her to die so he can get on with his life with another woman and their kids...the whole thing sickens me.

Yes, I agree. Very well said, to my mind. The clipped style appeals to me. Also, where is it written that poets can't speak on current issues, or issues of a divided nature? Are we to remain mute, unless we voice soft pleasant thoughts? Thanks, Henry
