Just a little wishful thinking, although I wouldn't mind it a bit (giggles).
We Stood Outside In The Rain by
Barbara Lynn Terry
It was the fairest of days, and we smiled, In our embrace of love's sweet bliss, Our emotions running wild, As I listened to him affirm that I am his.
He kissed me on my ruby lips, His strong hands at my hips, Holding me close with a tender touch, While whispering love's sweet words so much, That while we did not have a care attained, The weather became uncertain as it began to rain.
We stood there in each other's embrace, And didn't care that we should race, Inside the house to get away, From the downpour of Heaven's tears.
So we kissed and embraced again, While we stood outside in the rain.
Thanks for the reminder that there is nothing sweeter than a kiss 'n' a hug from your honey in rain, sweet, rain. . .
'long as the kiss is hot & the rain is warm!;) Kiss doesn't even have to be hot. Just from the right person. Somebody as nice
and funny and loving as Barbara Lynn Terry! So glad you are posting again, sweetie. The Den needs your spirit! XOXOXOXO 'Pea' XOXOXOXO
I love the rain especially kissing the man that I love. This was a romantic piece and once again it reminds me of what I have done and like. Passionate, romantic, affectionate, endearment and a never to forget rain kiss.
