I write of romance, kisses and bliss. But what does it really feel like, To be in the strong arms of a man?
To have him whisper to be his, To have him tell me it's all right, To have him comfort me in times of sorrow. Will I meet him maybe, on tomorrow?
What does his strong body feel like, When he caresses my soft body in the night? What does the love of a man, Feel like when he gently enters in?
"Where is fancy bred, In the heart or in the head?" This little quote from a movie I saw, Brings me more than just love, It brings him his little dove, To love, cuddle and caress, Leaving out life's stress.
I wish oh dear Lord in Heaven, That I will meet such a man, Who in his heart will understand, That this little girl needs love, Way down in the pits of her soul, And if I meet him, then I can be whole, in spirit and person. What does it feel like, The love of a man?
You open up and reveal so much of your self in your writings. One can feel the pain and longing, and many of us women can relate to this yearning for passioante love.
Barbie, The longing of your soul come through loud and clear in this piece. When you find the right man, he will love you from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet. He will accept you for who you are. He will look at your soul through your eyes, not body. He will know you through the eyes of love, not lust, and will love you body and soul. You will blossom into the wonderful flower that you are under his loving care. And I will rejoice at your happiness.
Any coupling has to be felt above the waist before it is felt below the waist, Barbie. Heart and mind have to meet in spiritual union before any sort of intimacy can take place. Hope you find it someday, Barbie. Most likely, it will find you.
Your words ring with crystal clarity. Each of us want what you describe... the way you tell it, but far too few are willing to re-invent love's attraction so that life doesn't become dull and repetivtive. Lacking mostly, one or both of the partners are not giving 100%... so the slack, and the loss of bells and whistles.
You have penned a good one, and I thank you. - Bill
Agree with Elizabeth half of the value of a loving relationship is in the chase, the learning about each other and the gaining of trust that is such a big part of any relationship. The sex is just lust.

Well Barbara...it feels pretty neat.
Seriously, this is a lovely poem, and a loving relationship is what we all strive for. Some make it, and some don't. But keep looking; that's what makes it all worthwhile.
Welcome!
The poems in this beautifully bound book are a result of over twenty years of observations. Observations of the world around us and on the telecommunications network. All of the hate, love, heroism, disasters, and those who help.
