My heart is like the red rose, With lots of love for those, Who are in pain, Who are stranded in the rain, Who are suffereing from an ill, And nothing will do not even a pill. I have lots of love for all, The slim, the wide, the small and tall, And if they are aching in their heart, I will always be there and a part, Of their struggles in life, To help them ease the terrible strife, That keeps them from having fun, In the bright yellow sun.
My heart is like the red rose, With lots of love for those, Who can cry, Who always try, Who have beauty in their soul, But cannot be complete and whole. I have lots of love for those, Who have been so abused, Who steadfastly refuse, To allow anyone else to, Break their heart so true .

People who have suffered, people who know what beauty is, that's the only people Oscar Wilde said somewhere in his long letter De Profundis, written while in prison. But we're all in prison I guess, the prison of our narrow-minded world.
This is wonderful barbie almost reads like song lyrics...sooo smooth and intense at the same time. Well done.

Beautiful,, soul-stirring poetry. You project complete harmony with your God and humanity. Makes me think back to Hollywood, California in the mid-sixties. An old woman, yes, a little touched in the head, each and every day would sit in her yard with a huge bowl of salad and paper plates and plastic forks to give to those of us who were hungry enough to lose our shame and partake. Nothing but lettuce, wilted many times, but it was given with love for the soul and that made it very, very good.
