I Write To Share With Others

I write to share with others
my feelings of sadness and woe,
Of happiness and places I'll go.

I write with emotion, such feeling
that will send the reader reeling
into an abyss of worldly fears
as they travel through their years,
And they can identify in the fears
they still have that cannot be
calmed, but they will be able to see
just how others can up and say,
Why must I rue this day?

I write to share with others,
Mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers,
Aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends,
Grandparents and those who fend
for themselves alone in the world,
For all the women, men, boys and girls,
Who need to know they are not alone,
behind those walls of stone
they have built to keep themselves safe
and secure inside their little cave.

I write to share with others.
