Last Week vs. This Week

Last week I sat in my dimly lit room,
Wondering if it would come soon,
The deep depths of despair,
That keeps me gasping for air.

Last week I went out to the fair,
But didn’t have any fun,
As I shouldn’t have even been there,
As there was no warm sun.

Last week I travelled the net,
But couldn’t find on a bet,
The one thing that could bring me joy,
So I turned off my electronic toy.

But this week I will go out and enjoy,
Happiness through and through,
As I relish the life in you,
And we celebrate my female aura’s hue.
