Harold's poem has a deep message

When you look at a rose, what do you see
When its in bloom,it captures beauty
That beauty's only skin deep,
There's something more beneath the surface
A rose has thorns, false comfort outside, danger lies deep
If pricked by one, your blood will seep,
Because you've seen beauty, nothing more,
You didn't remember,A rose has thorns

Throughout your life when you see something nice,
Think of whats below, waiting to strike
There is always more, than what you see
Look inside ,don't be decieved,by what your eyes tell you,or you'll be ripped apart,
By danger that lurks,in the dark
Love is blind,so the saying goes
Just watch out for,,,,

This is a strong message with a pessimistic view, but it has a touch of truth. What we see on the surface is only a pleasing facade of what lies beneath frequently. Clarity of thought and the message is expressed well in the poem.

Yes as the saying goes, Beauty is only skin deep. I have been bit by a rose a few times myself..
Much peace, love, and light,
