George Alan wrote this poem of lost love.

It starts with in the heart,
And moves upon the eye
Choke back the lump I swallow,
Stand strong and dare not cry

The words, they tipped my tongue'
But never did they spew
Realized at once; though all along,
And now its in plain view

The love once mine, now lost,
Maybe forever changed;
Taken as a thief in the night,
Long gone, but caught and hanged

A fool I am, oh yes I am,
Working hard to change the clock,
Trying to turn the hands back in time,
And then to break the Clock
