Memories from the glorious days of my childhood........ The boys name was Richard Prue! He and his parents moved to Washington later that year. I've never forgotten him.

At age eleven, a young girl with golden hair the colour of summer wheat and eyes of skye blue received her first real kiss from a boy who live in the neighborhood.

Softly he pressed his firm lips against hers. She gasped with pure delight ,, and then began to chase him around the yard ....

He ran like the wind and never was caught ....

'...a young girl with golden hair the colour of summer wheat'
just beautiful, that,
and the boy who
'...ran like the wind and never was caught'

How well, MaryGrace, you recall and capture it all.
Gorgeous!
