Sometimes change is a necessary part of life. This is a wee attempt at some not so good Irish humor.
I've decided to make a big change in my life.
Hopefully it will help me to avoid hassles, upsets and strife.
My health is declining and as I become older each day,it's hard to walk in an ordinary way!.
I now walk with a slight limpy, limp. Arthur-its visits me every day, as I trudge along life's unknowing way.
I don't hear as well and my eye sight is bad. I forget what I said and repeat and repeat. Some of these problems make me feel really sad!
Health issues bother me almost every day. I do my best to cope in many unique ways.
Alzheimer's is always there, I try hard not to feel despair, but it's reality, a part of my life, so I go forward doing the best I can. I will fight it as long as I am able too.
THE END... This isn't a very good poem but I think you were able to get the jest of it!!!!
AN UPDATE
I am selling my house and moving to Lake City to live with my daughter and her family in June. This will be a big change and perhaps it will be good for me. I sure hope so. It 's hard to leave the home Richard and I built, but time moves on and one does what they have to do to survive. New horizons await and I look forward to the future and happy times with my grand and great grand children. Mary grace
MARY GRACE, THOUGH I KNOW IT WAS A TOUGH DECISION TO MAKE, YOU SEEM TO BE MAKING A CHANGE FOR THE BETTER. AND BY THAT I MEAN TO BE IN THE MIDST OF A FAMILY THAT LOVES AND WANTS YOU IS A TRUE BLESSING. I ENVY YOU IN THAT I HAVE NOT COME TO THE PLACE WHERE I AM SO 'PLIABLE'. I STILL WANT AND CHERISH INDEPENDENCE FAR MORE THAN I WANT THE CONSTANT SURROUNDING OF FAMILY. I LOVE MY LITTLE APARTMENT AND THE FREEDOM TO WRITE, PAINT AND DO WHAT I WANT, AS I WANT. I KEEP IN TOUCH...THEY KEEP IN TOUCH(AT LEAST SOME DO,SMILE)AND RIGHT NOW THAT'S ALL I WANT. WHEN I NEED MORE I AM NOT TOO PROUD TO ASK FOR IT. LIFE AND EXPERIENCES, SO DIFFERENT FROM YOURS, HAS MOLDED AND SHAPED ME AND I KNOW YOU UNDERSTAND HOW IT IS...'NO NEVER ALONE, NO NEVER ALONE - HE PROMISED NEVER TO LEAVE ME, NO NEVER ALONE'. CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR BRAVE 'CHANGE', JUST KEEP WRITING AND MAY EVERY STEP OF YOUR WAY BE BLESSED WITH THE LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH YOU SO RICHLY DESERVE. JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS
A wicked Cajun Fairy named Robes Pierre entered the impenetrable Magical doll land of Sha Bebe. Queen Faustina, the ruler of the doll land, thought she had destroyed him, but he's back! Will the doll land survive his evil ways?
The familiar lament of dual-career parents raising children is, "I just can't do it all." The Libra Solution provides an alternative - a more satisfying and sustainable work and life approach - to the overwrought modern day norm.
Love ya!
