Mysteries Of Life

Come walk with me through the meadows of
time and explore the mysteries of life,
pass tangled thickets of hazy dreams and
wounded mountains of strife.

Beyond the winding road of chance is a
patch of colorful fields, where wishes
grow, disappointments flow and passions
are quickly snatched.

Love beams yonder the willow tree and
anger awaits below, in grassy marshes
of anticipation at the hopeful waterfall
flow.

Glance upward while the rainbow cheers
after the bountiful storm.. that washed
away tainted rumors and lies...cooling
wounds, broken dreams and sudden
demise.

Across the bridge is the end of the road,
but don't become misguided, for a fork
there will be, thus your choice you will
see, for this is your destiny.

when we come upon that fork in the road, it would be a more than mystery if we could embark upon both paths at once ...

So much truth about life you just revealed here. And no matter which fork we take there always seems to be another fork waiting down the road.I really enjoyed this.
Have a great week

On the Edge of Words by Debra Kraft

Questions, unquestioned discoveries, and answers in parable and rhyme…. This collection records a journey starting with a 1960s retrospective and the first man on the moon, moving to a new millennium welcomed in with a terrorist spin, family crises,
