If Universal Law Were Traversed

The Sun could see the Moon
the equidistant realm placed inside a sin
merging for just that moment
Empyrean boundaries crossed by need

The universe would hold its breath
Forsaking a happening it would not allow
Chaos theories sputtered out like testimonials
The Astral body must never meet the Spiritual body
the sun is only allowed reflection of the moons beauty
to permit more would stop time and existence

Not willing to let go the Sun argues
Its corona glares in anger hating restrictions placed
It no longer wishes to be a slave to destiny

I have shared the Moon’s sky a time ago
Why must I be denied the ecstasy and total joy
Being only satiated by a partial eclipse
granting visage of only a side of this celestial presence
I ask for so little, Just a moment

You precede yourself with useless solar projections
the Moon has shown no such intonation
Are you to force your need defying transmission of godly nature
do you wish to be another Osiris
Insuring your own mortification
And what of consequence?
Would orbital status return after such a sojourn
and what of the Moon’s resulting transfiguration
We guardians of the universe are not the demons
painted by you with slanted brush, we are just pragmatic

Internal reflection passes through the Sun
Universal law be dammed
Yet The Moon has been silent, showing no such yearning
its stasis of orbit would be jeopardized
Balance and purpose overturned
creating a Causality loop

Begrudgingly the Sun acquiesces
With a dream of lunar fusion its only companion,
it continues a solitary vigil
its luminance diminishing with each rotation
