There is an order of invisible being;
We recognize it—gives existence meaning.
Its qualities exist: substantial forms;
They drive our lives toward good, I hope the norm.

Though history is fraught with turbulent flow;
This order of being remains untouchable,
As it did eons ago:

Ethics, Happiness, Love, Personality,
Humor, Patience, Morality,

Justice, Temperance, Order, Humility,
Virtue, Compassion, Honesty,

Sanctity, Passion, Sincerity, Industry,
Courage, Wonder, Integrity.

Where comes our understanding of such ideals?
Are such invisibles purely mindful squeals?
Or are they real beings in reality,
Certain as the sunrise, or an established tree?

My quest: “Are such things here for us to ignore?
If they don’t exist then what’s a heaven for?”

I think I got a bit carried away here, but I do believe in invisible being or we couldn't relate to one another. Even the word relate is an invisible cord or string, or a whatnot that binds us one to the other. If not, we would exist like Leibnitz's Monads without windows.

You Look FatCalgary by RickthePoetWarrior

Using Calgary as a backdrop the author satirizes the self-serving nature of the public as it continues to fatten itself, not only physically, but egotistically as well.
