I aint gonna sing a sad song
I aint gonna fall at nobody’s feet,
I aint gonna do what you expect of me,
I’m walkin’ away if you if you don’t wanna be with me.
No I wouldn’t stand with tears rollin down my cheeks…
I don’t know where I’m headin’
Am I gropin’ in the dark?
Or am I moving towards the light?
I’m not sure, oh no, but I do know,
That the pace sure doesn’t seem slow
A step further each time...
A new possibility with each move...
A different future each time I blink,
Moving on with my time and life
Filling the space with my being,
I’m moving on now and forever you see,
Moving on to depressions and heights,
A step further away from where we started
A step closer to the unknown
First the heal then the toe,
Then comes the other foot,
Leaving behind what’s gone
Hanging on to all that I belong
Taking with me who wants to come along
Just moving on and on...
ANOTHER SONG IN HOPE OF BEING DISCOVERED!
