People take a great message like Jesus's Gospel and interpret it for their own ends - a way of controlling, a way of keeping tabs on the populace, discouraging free thought, free play of the mind. Don't let the Church mess up your sex life, they are anti-gay, anti-bi, anti- anything that is not under their control. I'm not surprised the lesbian was thrown in the fire. Man's past is awful, mankind is pretty awful at times. We need individuals, not crowds of hateful sheep looking for signs of non-conformity. Thanks ,Wicca woman, for your enlightened poem from the world of Buckskin, Moccasin, and Puritan. Keep on rocking us, Sage!

I hated "The Waltons," nobody is that good. Loved the poem until the lesbian was thrown into the fire, I have no idea where that came from. I suppose I am not one of those "highly creative type." LOL Where the hell did the lesbian come from, Sage? Don't tell me THAT was on The Waltons!"
This is very beautiful, Sage. I used to watch the Waltons 'religiously' and I recall this episode. 'Judge not lest ye be judged' comes to mind all of a sudden...
