Sage Sweetwater, unrivaled, bringing you the Upper Tier in lesbian erotica...Sage Sweetwater, the exceptional ARTIST of literary lesbian poetic prose...

Sage Sweetwater Lyricist for Porterhouse Music (Finnur Bjarki)

turned the
plow on its side,
let the horses loose
I watched the fire consume
her with desire,

saddle leather
embossed with
the acorn, oak tree
bark antler worn,

smoking tipi rings
dizzy where we f***ed
a circle, pinto colors of white
and brown, something spooked
her, I watched her take from her
saddle bag, untie it, an alias, she
became so pale, burning cornfield
exposed her identity, I tempted it, pussy
and whiskey, under a sky full of bastard
vultures, heat waves coming off the cornfield
scorched the passionate air, a mirage I knew to
be reality,

I wielded the
scythe washed in
cornfield ash, implemented
for the maintenance of passion,
saddlebags over her shoulder, she
flagged down the tractor, I took a bucket
to the windmill, doused the hot tipi rings, next
spring, the quail will eat where I did - burn down
the cornfield,

I hung
the scythe
on the church steeple,
inside pews full of religious people,
her alias, standing at the pulpit, she
became so pale,

I...

"...pussy and whiskey, under a sky full of bastard vultures, heat waves coming off the cornfield scorched the passionate air..."

Talk about powerful imagery! If I ever dare to be there, I know I had better bring my smelling salts.

No one, I say no one writes erotica with more striking images.

First you take my breath away. Then I pant.

Very strong, acute and searing... but what I like most is the definitions of your two characters here, Sage: the one unflinching, brash and brazen in the sure-footed knowledge of the who she is; the other nervy, blanched; weighted down with physical and emotional baggage, perhaps lacking in self-confidence, confused. Your canvas is always as broad as a Kansas sky and the concentric ripples of your unending cornfields of visionary expression are centred in your points of exact telling detail... When are you gonna tell us how many notches she got on her guitar???!!! :)) Kate xx

The images here are so vivid that I felt as if I was a voyeur watching it all happen. You really can fill a girl's soul with erotic passion. I can't say more than this, because my comments agree with Pea's and everyone else's. Thank you for making me smile.

May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth, & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFULS SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your little sister, Barbie

How did you g e t so talented, my friend? Here, the form adds greatly. Your images are as always right on target. You are obviously a natural, but there has to be a lot of discipline and study and attention to craft behind your work. Your sparklesome personality and passion for life make your poetry soar. Almost need eclipse specs to keep from being blinded! B r a v a ~!!!! <3 Pea <3

"under a sky full of bastard
vultures, heat waves coming off the cornfield
scorched the passionate air..." Anyone who can fill poems with images like this is quite a poet regardless of subject or intent. I've been under that sky myself but for other passions (fishing!) so I can relate - Good thing you live in a cool climate (you'd get in trouble here in Florida!)

Your writing always seems so realistic and full of symbols at the same time.
Reading your poetry is always like entering a secret world, with a little guilt, then pleasure, then freedom...
