Let fate choose

a simple plan
with the beauty
of an antique scene
on a tin coffee can,

and I sit down
with two women
in candlelight, took
out the table leaf to
make it round,

one poured the wine,
one read outloud from
the book, one prayed to
obliterate the curse, tine
cleansing in turpentine,

let fate choose
what meal to nourish.

Sage, this is so pagan, but honestly, I believe that there is no such thing as a curse, it can be done to you by a negative person, but only if you want to believe it to be true will it be. The mind is a powerful tool, we all must use it to protect ourselves from negative energies, and send their energy back to them.
Namaste,
Amber

Nice Sage! The visual of this piece is profound. I could feel myself whisping, as in floating, around the table. I just wanted to be there! Good write!

Peace in the candlelight,
Dayvid

This stirs up all kinds or images, dark windy nights, witches and wicans, dark recipes of old and yet a calm soothing rule of the other motherhood
