Honoring Amber Moonstone's Challenge.

State of Being: All Things Gaia

(Then)
For thousands
of years, my state
of being fluctuated,
I died somehow in a
cosmic craft ship shaped
like a cigar, long and tubular,
we crashed into the water, I was
locked in a vault that resembled a
refrigerator, I went through many lifetimes,
when candles were given for tithe and writing
was on Egyptian papyrus,

(Now)
Pleiadian flux,
the Ice Reaper
donned in hood
is still searching for
us beneath the frozen
water hacking through
with a sickle, my emotions
are always in motion, in tune
with solar and lunar tides, stable
is my current state of being, steadfast
in resolution, equestrian in mode of green
pastures unfenced, my state of being is concurrent
with unbridled passion and love for all things Gaia.

Sage, this is a powerful rendering my friend -- this poem is alive with creativity, "pastures unfenced,my state of being is concurrent with unbridled passion and love" reaches raw emotions and validity of conceptualization -- may peace and love be always with you my friend, -- Jon Michael

Sage Sweetwater, you continue to amaze me with your protean talents. fertile imagination, and command of the English language. Never, but never, is your work prosaic. In this poem, you have managed to draw pyramids! How long did it take you to shape this jewel? I would probably have lost patience before I finished the first stanza. Halfway through that!!

As always, you have come up with precisely the right images. So glad you made it past the Ice Reaper! Like you, I had finally reached stable mode (though I doubt to the same extent). Circumstances and
?lack of character? have me backsliding, but with examples as stellar
as yours to goad me, be damned if I won't climb the cliff. Or should I say, pyramid?

Bless all the powers that be for you, my friend. You are a goddess!

a mature state of being born from having been. Did we once share conversations, Sage, in the shadow of the pyramids or by the shores of the Nile? Incredible poem, as profound as it is beautiful and mystic.

Sage, You really stepped up to the Challenge, I can say that I knew most of this about you, just from sharing our special friendship and our energies...
May Gaia always embrace your State Of Being!

Lovely work here, I feel like a teacher correcting her papers..lol
But honestly this is superb poetry!

Much peace, love and light,
Amber

Sage...there is such deep contentment
when we can look to earth and all the bounty offering us
from the sowing & harvest to cultivations
and all the timeless unending beauty we have at our inner reach
every single day from the tides to the shores
to feathers empyrean flight into these deep roots we all grow
Love For All This an So Much More
