Sage, clay yet to be molded by the potter into a final form, unfired in the kiln and a pre-menopausal woman are kindred souls. Their final forms unresolved and mysterious still being shaped in time and place. Once they meet their destiny with the kiln and glaze the spirits of both are transformed.
