death

jeep axles lay to rest
vista to the pyramid
aligns with sunrise
on ancient Egypt's
New Year's Day

motive will remain obscure
the evil root tore up
covered in gold leaf
to bedazzle wayfarers

his harem
his heir stand no chance
timber merchants pull the jeep axles
away from their strong army and steady
supply of juniper to build new dreams

As I read this, a harem of GIANT ravens are swaying in the top of my neighbor's row of Junipers bedazzling the kids in the driveway with their golden squaw king. Patrick

I'm glad for the junipers. I'm sad for the jeep axles. The gold leaf makes me no difference. Your poetry fills my inbox and I can't not read it today!

Peace and axle lube,
Dayvid

...and those new dreams were and are built on myths, legends, guesswork, 'reaches', projections?
This is both strange and wonderful, Sage, but for your readers that's nothing new.

John
