Pitted Windshield
Sun glare Revelation
I heard from you today I-70 a backup

Tumbleweeds plan their own destiny
Kangaroo rats speed across risking
No services church or otherwise available

For miles of limpidity of lucidness
Rearview replaced with selective memory
Adhesive backing peeled away

I am in hopes you'll bring bushel baskets
Filled with wooden spools of quilting thread
Your kite string kept us in contact and her thimble told a story

Burlap sacks hold new Dreams to be seeded
Oh and the tarp is in the trunk from the early years
It was I who said it was f***ing insanity

Seer and Sower foretell Amish puppetry
Printed muslins of sheep grazing new pastures
Check your gauges and accelerate

Sheep sheets make for odd roadside scenery but they won't wander onto the road. So floor it! Patrick

Great imagery and metaphor. As with much of your eclectic poetry, I don't always get them but I always enjoy them.

th ebest to place to accelerate is the Autobahn in Germany. yes, fucking insanity at times; but great fun anyways.

This is rich in imagery and feel ~ metaphors profound!
I can remember the beautiful mountain roads, the porcupines.
Be well,
Christine
