I See You...I put you in the spotlight like the doe.

Poem Artwork

Surveillance Conducted by the Aspens

night vision
concealed under the bark
buckknife's incision I put you
in the spotlight like the doe your
come hither look you spoke with nary
a lisp I caught the image you're no stranger
to the dark my infrared surveillance camera monitor
sees forest friendly

will-o'-the-wisp
carving or scar?
I left my mark for
you to decipher the
amber in the drinking
jar a clue for the archer
where we bed down with
the mountain goat

I see you...

I hear the howling and the scurry of shadows
twigs snapping...the owl watches

Some interesting ideas expressed in this little ditty.

Peace and piercing archer's arrows,

Dayvid
