Dismissed from jury duty Sweetwater promoting her Hollywood films her mountain valley clerk and judge understanding her reason perhaps infusing Stephen King novels with appropriate whiskey carried in a flask reclining outside the Amish furniture store around the corner from the 125-year-old courthouse in her county seat writing on a mobile digital device.

Jacob's Ghost

jacob's ghost white whiskey
a different approach to the black horse
the saloon housed a spirit

she rose from her seat
she stood apparently elevating
herself midpalate in awe of my presence

apparently the contrast
was blinding from my dark ray ban's
covering my eyes and her off-white whiskey

"be careful," she said
"this is where vanilla is transitioning
into honeyed vanilla I'm corn and cereal grains underneath"

"be careful," I said
"I'm not a neat sipper I go with jim beam black
that horse in the pasture got tangled up once with jacob's ghost"

my lover woke me up
sitting on my face it tasted like
it had spent time in a barrel with dark oak tones and black licorice

black horse in the mountain pasture
looked like it had seen jacob's ghost in the barbed wire
I rubbed jim beam's devil's cut on its bleeding forehead

ghost town saloon in rosita colorado
plays stephen king the stand I take they dismissed me
from jury duty when I gave them a reason

jacob's ghost white whiskey
a different approach to the black horse
the saloon housed a spirit

Whiskey-fevered dreams don't have to make sense in the straightforward way. Do they...Don't pay attention to the story, just the feeling. Tends to take me back to the 70's and the beer and whiskey shots I would always regret hours later. Strangely enough I've always wanted to do jury duty, but I don't think they like ex-cons doing such things. I liked the atmosphere of this one Sage. Good reading. Bob

They dismissed Madonna from jury duty because she drew a crowd. Jim Beam's my poison.

Where and when do I get to see those films you are making? I'm anxiously waiting to see one.
