Sweetwater the lesbian western icon of our century chiming in as the American lesbian poet trailblazer bought by Hollywood in film promotion. Poetry that sells!

Barley Beer Grimm Brothers Pack of Hounds and Amish Porridge

harley clutch levers froze
drag pipes got louder sisters
of anarchy two side by side I rode
third rear with my burlap sack of the
seasons acorns and barley beer

grimm brothers
pack of hounds with tongues
of fire church artillery men on the
battlefield grounds gathering thorns
99 cent crown went up in black powder

pumpkin fields
triggered a sixth
sense secret drawer
behind the pulpit bottom
left side dummy shelf fake
built-in storage the delicious
truth hid even bigger than what's
in amish porridge

I throttled
hard past them
wind whistled like
polished chrome nickel
black-dressed scarecrow
built carrying a sickle his head
under his arm a prophecy told on
this pumpkin farm

I shifted down
prepared to shock
the goddamn world that
tried to oust my soul if there'd
be any skewering it'd be me that
would dole out retribution

I took
them inside
the church that
dummy shelf behind
the pulpit I pulled open
I took it out a cornhusk
wrapper inside a pot pipe
and a flash drive the contents
all outlined a wealthy mind the
bible open on the pulpit to Hebrews
13:16 and do not forget to do good and
to share with others for with such sacrifices
god is well pleased
LMAO psalm face palm!

Interesting you are ending with Scriupture quotes. Be careful...The Bible is the most subversive book in the world.

God bless,

Sorry you lost your ass (LMAO) on that one. And Amish porridge? I'm part Amish on my mother's side, but don't have a clue as to what that is. I sure hope that it's oatmeal and tasty. I've read that oatmeal is very good for plugging cracks. Have to try it sometime. Got any cracks you need plugged? ;-)

Look Away Silence by Edward Patterson

Martin Powers wanted an ironing board for Christmas. Instead, he got . . . Matthew Kieler, a non-returnable gift, but a gift that kept on giving. A powerful tale of survival, compassion and unapologetic love in the time of AIDS.
