If I Were A Tree

I was in Frisco, Colorado, looking at an Aspen trees when I thought of writing this poem. Then I added to the poem the truth about the nature of God.

If I were a tree I would not want to be, just an ordinary tree, but a tree that could see. Perhaps an Aspen; that would be swell. Then I would tell stories about the Old West. That only an old tree could really tell best. Soon folks from all over will gather round, to marvel at the taking tree that they found.. When I am famous I will tell people I see, how God created nature, you and me. Perhaps then the folks will learn as one.. About the true loving God that sacrificed His only Son.
