While we sit and watch our TV sets.
Haiti is still hurting.
While the civilized world hops on a jet.
Haiti is still hurting.
While people go to a movie or to a fine restaurant.
Haiti is still hurting.
While folks look at a menu and order whatever they want.

Very well crafted writing, in my opinion- creative use of the color red to show the painful throbbing...in it I hear Jesus saying "whatever you do for the least of these..."
May the Lord prick our hearts, and use us help our fellow humans in need.
