Hero's are not only solders of war but peaceful endivers too. Fireman for example. I like thee overall concept of this fine written piece, John Michael. Our country has lagged behind giving our ex- military people a finacial break. Great job my friend.

I think we should do as much as we can for our soldiers. However, I don't believe they are necessarily heroes until they do something heroic. Until we learn how not to war, soldiers will be necessary. I preferred the ordinary heroes in day-to-day life than those glamorized by war.
