I had a friend who worked behind the scenes in Nam as a combat engineer. He died last year from Agent Orange. Even though he worked behind the scenes he still gave his all all because if he did not answer the call for service to his country he would probably still be alive today. For the rest of us, �I salute you and thank you for your service; have a wonderful day.�

“Thank you so much for your service” is a great way to express thanks to the men and women who have given their very best. There are those who almost lost their lives and some who gave their all. They deserve honor for protecting our freedom. They stood up and answered the call. Then there were those who worked behind the scenes and they were quite a few. They deserve honor and praise for their service from folks like me and you. So if you see someone who served, please do not hesitate to say… “Thank you so much for your service, and have a wonderful day.” Copyright © 2013 by John Michael Domino, All Rights Reserved.

In Vietnam, many were drafted and didn't, �answer the call.� Napalm and Agent Orange were weapons of mass destruction used indiscriminately on civilians and military alike. Agent Orange is still killing in Vietnam today.

I treat Vietnam vets kindly. I listen to what they tell me. We can honor the dead on Memorial Day, but we must not forget those maimed by war every day.
