The Investment Roller Coaster Ride

A short synopsis of my investment cycle

Poem Artwork

It started with just a five dollar bill

Then went to hundreds, thousands and about half of a mill

Almost lost it all during big downfall

Then recovered most of it at long last

So high stakes are a thing of the past

So now I hope and pray to coast slowly uphill

Clink...clink...clink...

It seems as if we have all been there at one time or another. Bad investments have a tendency to make us quit investing, glad to hear that you hung in there to recoup most of your money! I know you will coast uphill slowly and safely from now on. Joy

I have a co-worker who had taken a year leave of absence to sit home to play the stock market. She cashed out 20K of her RRSP and threw it all to the stock market. First few times we talked on the phone she would tell me how much she's made, but then later I don't know. I'll have to call her up again to find out.

It's great that you have recovered most of your money!
