About the dark times, suns and moons,
with figures, schemes and tropes.
At times with digital dolby ink
or cacophonous air.

We’ve written it all, haven’t we?
About distance and nearness,
crows drinking low calorie milk,
aesthetics and power,
asterix and fullyautomatix.

We’ve written it all, haven’t we?
About kids playing hopscotch,
ants knocking down elephants,
malaria and bird flu,
metaphors shaped as macabre.

We’ve written it all, haven’t we?
About junkyards and nuclear wastes,
leaders and marital affairs,
treaties legalizing slavery,
religious men and patriots,
dolphins reciting sonnets.

We’ve written it all, haven’t we?
About noses hit by mangoes,
someone killing someone else by fart,
protests against governments and artists,
da vinci code and waste land.

We’ve written it all, haven’t we?
