Fellows Marines...but not less the others too, it is Xmas again and the flag on the front of the house would have a yellow ribbon.
My Xmas tree have a little one.
God Bless and take care of yourself and your buddies, hoping that Christmas brings that wished peace, no matter what your religious faith are.
A peaceful Chistmas brothers!

Poem Artwork

2006, in the year of the Lord,
"they" the unwise ones have sent
the son of your mother
where is a bullet with your name;
does it matter if it is Hannuka,
Ramadan or Christmas day
when you celebrate
with all your soul your faith?;
mother, father, siblings
and a wife with a little one
back home were left,
don't you forget
to take care of them
by taking good care
of yourself;
but...
coming Christmas, soldier...
everybody some present they get,
so, watch out, because someone put
under the tree,
a bullet with your name.

Georg,

First of all, thank Y O U for your service.

You capture the nightmare our men and women face each and every day without sugarcoating it. A provocative, heartbreaking write; well done.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla. *tracking you! LOVE what you have to say*
