Our own Andre Bendavi ben YEHU and sweet little Anessa Blaine have inspired this one.
Paradise is gone, and so is Camelot, as the Age of Enlightment as we are approaching once more the Dark Ages.
No, this is not pessimism or cynicism ladies and genteman, because, soon, we will start to burn witches and shamans at the stakes...

Poem Artwork

Welcome to my world where mirror images
jump down from reality, nightmares clones,
living in an emotional castle with no knights,
the fires of hell as been put down long ago,
and now descending the dungeon gray stairs
one feels only the musty aroma of the cold.

Many things they have the pleasure to do,
like the shape of this castle its every stone,
they used torture and pain to square corners
so they will fit with each other to the last rock,
with imposing and forbidden highs they build
around my body the most hardest of all walls.

Prisoner, not for choice, as I have seek Justice
believing she was blind, and find she was not,
someone, more clever than other clever men
went on her back and yanked her blindfold off,
now, she can see how pitiful we all are and can
administer justice, but not the one like Salomon’s.

Hear! condemned souls are pulling at their chains
down in the deepest shadows of my dungeon vaults,
I was a soldier that refused to lie down and die
but then I had had parents that didn’t have a son,
in my castle it is forbidden to crack a weak smile
that can become a laugh, and tears I won’t allow.

Rights, just for a few it seems to be day’s agenda
when the only right we have is listening to words
uttered by the Masters Liars talking of futures as,
they at the present, our everyday going on destroy,
then, to everyone that have seen hope vanishing,
I want to say each one, Welcome to my World ! ! !

If this view doesn't 'set the world on fire' for truth, we are truly doomed. Master Liars focus on their view of what should be, without taking [truly] into consideration the welfare of all. Your poem strikes a cord in me to lift my voice and let it be heard.

God bless you. Kathy

We build and travel many grand highways to perdition; we glory in the false cathedrals, believing the salesmen of unholiness!
You are a true poet of our moral consciousness, Georg. This is an amazing poem! A wake-up call...

A political paradox! Nice transverse arches, always marveled at how stuff like that was built without 20 ton cranes.

Georg you know how to grip the mind with scenarios that pierce the heart with fear! Unless we are part of the complacent ones who live in denial...We are on the downward spiral into the abyss, and have so much more misery ahead that we bring on ourselves by not facing the truth of what is happening.Your poem is outstanding!

Georg, I wish I could shine a light down those ever decenting strairs, and dank walls, but just the same, I think they are never ending, I've seen those dungeons, old ones and modern ones with just barbed wire, and as history, and different potentates passed over them, nothing changed, just the name, but like Rumi said, we are prisoners of our own mind, and goes right in line with Andre's comments, blindness, indifference, and apathy, and most of all the disrespect of others. The sheep mentallity or herd instinct beeing misused as it always has been, to the furtherance of those that know how to manipulate, which in turn allows for induviduals to be discounted, or a whole peoples as we well know. Remember though only artists and poets are usually the concience in the tourmoil of the times, and you are a most wonderful concience and poet! Salutations!

Let the truth be known, if we dare. This down hill spiral of sinners will soon burst and there will be nothing left to hold on to. Well said Georg.....

...wonderful poetry here Georg...dark and darker images...as if the arcana of justice in the deck of tarot...blindfolded...seated within the scales...had come undone. You have penned a balance...upset...and perhaps tipped over...with excellent thoughts to ponder...

"Welcome to my World" strikes the dynamo of the learning mind.

Political blindness, indifference and apathy are the three forces that serve the will of PLUTOCRACY; people are blindfolded congenitally, and mainly brainwashed through DNA.

"IF WE DON'T HAIL ZEUS HUSTICE WILL PREVAIL". As long as people allow the STATE to govern through MYTHEOCRACY, (*) the intensity of DARKNESS will increase and the BIGGEST SLAVEYARD of all centuries will soon be built. (MYTHEOCRACY, - Myth+Theo+Cracy).

I must say that reading "Welcome to my World" this morning was a banquet for my mind. It was privilege to read a composition that instructs, inspires, and motivates one to learn.

Thank You for sharing Your treasures, and for complying with Your poetic mission.

I salute You, Poet.

In admiration,

Andre Emmanuel Bendavi ben-YEHU

P.S.: Thank You for mentioning my name. Great honor!

Extreme statements being made here Georg and I hear them loud and clear. The world seems to be deterriorating quickly, there was a time (in the sixties) when I thought the voice of the youth rising up in the streets would change things, now I only wonder where is the voice of today's youth.
